 STAY TOGETHER

The new church building project presents us with a lot of challenges along the way. This week, one of those challenges is going to be the Family Fun Day on Monday, September 6^th from 4-6 PM. Because of the amount of disturbance to the church property, limiting the amount of useable ground and the removal of almost all of the playground equipment, we have chosen to move the site of this week's Fun Day Activities to the Lannie Road Park. We will be having a picnic style lunch (sandwich meat and bread will be provided by the church) we ask that you bring beans, potato salad, chips, drinks, desserts and so forth. We are going to provide a couple of ice water coolers and a cooler with ice for the drinks. We will also make some tea at the church and take it down to the park and I thought that we may even take a port-o-let (just in case). 

We will have the opportunity to play softball, soccer, basketball or just play on the playground equipment. There are some picnic tables under a shelter but you may want to bring your lawn/sports chairs. We will try to limit it to about two hours so that we have enough time (and energy) to get everything back to the church and put up. I encourage everyone that can come, to come, even if it’s just to sit, talk and watch the others play. 

Godly fellowship is crucial in a successful Christian life. You were never meant to walk this road alone. Learn to worship, work, and play with your Christian brothers and sisters and they will become your best friends also.
